About the presenter  

Bongani Shoko – SHEQ Consultant

Bongani Shoko is a seasoned SHEQ Specialist with over 15 years of experience in safety, health, environment, and quality management. Since beginning his career in 2009, he has delivered compliance training across multiple industries, including major power generation projects and power stations throughout South Africa. His strong expertise in ISO management systems has enabled him to assist numerous organisations in developing, implementing, and certifying SHEQ systems that ensure legal compliance and effective risk management. His regional experience extends to Swaziland, Lesotho, and Zambia, where he has led various training and compliance initiatives. 

As a dedicated mentor and consultant, Bongani has guided many SHEQ professionals who now excel in their respective fields. Currently working as a Safety Consultant and Trainer, he supports companies in construction, training, and security to maintain ISO certification and meet regulatory requirements. Holding a Diploma in Safety Management and pursuing an International Diploma in the same field, Bongani has contributed to major projects such as the Lesotho Highlands Water Project, Eskom Holdings OHS Training, and LGSETA Safety Compliance Training. His work is driven by a commitment to delivering sustainable, value-based SHEQ solutions that promote long-term organisational excellence.
