ACCOUNTING STANDARDS BOARD: INPUT SOUGHT ON THREE SETS OF PROPOSALS

The Board has gazetted a notice drawing attention to three new developments:
- an opportunity to participate in a post-implementation review of the standard for accounting by principals and agents (the deadline for comment has been set at 28 April 2023, using documents to be downloaded here)
- possible improvements to the generally recognised accounting practice (GRAP) standards (the deadline for comment has been set at 28 April 2023)
- proposals for interpreting the existing GRAP standards on foreign currency transactions and advance consideration (the deadline for comment has been set at 15 September 2023)
