ACCOUNTING STANDARDS BOARD: TWO SETS OF PROPOSALS OUT FOR COMMENT

The Accounting Standards Board has published two sets of proposals for stakeholder input. The notice announcing this was gazetted on the afternoon of Saturday, 11 May 2024 and backdated to the previous day.

Regarding international financial reporting standards, comments are sought on:

• interpretation proposals (input by 7 June 2024), which are unpacked in:
  • an accompanying International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board document

Regarding the Board’s generally recognised accounting practice standards, input is sought on:

• draft amendments to the reporting framework (input by 30 June 2024), which are unpacked in:
  • an accompanying presentation document
