The National Environmental Consultative & Advisory Forum has been given another year to identify practical options for addressing non-compliance with minimum emissions standards and related issues. This is according to a Government Gazette notice extending the forum’s new reporting deadline to 17 August 2024.
Established in August 2022, the forum was tasked with conducting an ‘extensive’ stakeholder consultation process with a view to assessing ‘all significant relevant research and analysis’ and presenting it for public interrogation and review.
