AUDITORS: IRBA CALLS FOR INPUT ON DRAFT AMENDMENTS TO IESBA CODE ON TAX PLANNING

The Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA) has gazetted a notice calling for input by 8 May 2023 on proposed amendments to the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESB) professional code. The changes envisaged deal with tax planning and related services.
According to the notice, some proposals in the IESB exposure draft would amend sections of the code not yet adopted by the IRBA.
