AUDITORS: IRBA PUBLISHES REVISED PROFESSIONAL CODE OF CONDUCT

The Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors has published a revised code of professional conduct, with revisions focusing on tax planning and related services.

According to an accompanying overview of the changes made, they:

  • are underpinned by the 2024 International Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants (IESBA) (incorporating international independence standards), and
  • include IESBA-approved tax planning and related services provisions (effective from 1 July 2025).
