BANKS: INPUT SOUGHT ON AUDITORS’ REPORTING OBLIGATIONS DIRECTIVE

The Prudential Authority has called for input by 27 March 2026 of a draft directive outlining the reporting obligations of auditors in the context of amendments to regulations under the 1990 Banks Act in force since July 2025.
This is noting:
- Regulation 46(1) requirements, and
- Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors standards.
Once finalised the directive will replace one in force since March 2024.
