BILLS BEING PROCESSED IN PARLIAMENT

The spreadsheet to which a link is provided below reflects the status of all Bills now being processed by National Assembly and NCOP committees.

To view the latest version of each Bill, please click its title in the first column of the spreadsheet.

The second column indicates whether the Bill was tabled by a national government department or an individual MP.

A brief summary of the Bill’s overarching objectives can be found in the third column, and itS current status in the final column.

You are advised to download the spreadsheet before viewing it so that all data is visible.

There are now 68 Bills in various stages of being processed. One (the remitted Protection of State Information Bill) has been on hold for some time.

A draft Electricity Regulation Amendment Bill has been tabled but will only be published when it has been classified by Parliament's Joint Tagging Mechanism. It is therefore not included in the spreadsheet.

The Companies Amendment Bill has been approved by Cabinet for tabling but has not yet materialised.

An updated spreadsheet will be published regularly whenever Parliament is sitting and new developments take place.
