BILLS BEING PROCESSED IN PARLIAMENT (30 April 2024)

The spreadsheet to which a link is provided below reflects the status of Bills still before Parliament on 30 April 2024. This is noting that:

  • the National Assembly rose on 28 March 2024 for its traditionally long pre-general election constituency period
  • the NCOP and its committees are expected to continue working until 21 May 2024, and that
  • since 30 March 2024:
    • several Bills have been passed and sent to the President for signature, while
    • four new Bills have been tabled (three by the Democratic Alliance).

Developments since SA Legal Academy last published the spreadsheet (30 March 2024) are emboldened in red.

The Bills themselves can be accessed by clicking their titles.

You are advised to download the spreadsheet before viewing it so that all data is visible.

There are now 44 Bills before Parliament (please download before viewing).
