COMPETITION ACT: DRAFT REGULATIONS GAZETTED FOR COMMENT

The Department of Trade, Industry & Competition has called for input by 7 April 2023 on draft regulations dealing with:
- appeals arising from market inquiries before the Competition Tribunal, and
- processes for determining Competition Commission recommendations for divestiture.
The invitation for written submissions was issued well after close of business on 8 March 2023 (possibly overnight) by way of a backdated notice in the Government Gazette.
