DEEDS REGISTRIES ACT REGULATIONS: MORE AMENDMENTS GAZETTED

The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform & Rural Development has gazetted more amendments to regulations made under the 1937 Deeds Registries Act. Scheduled to come into force on 1 March 2026, among other things the latest amendments have implications for:
- shares in immovable property
- servitude registrations, and
- access to strong rooms for record and register inspection.
