DEEDS REGISTRIES AMENDMENT BILL HEADS TO PARLIAMENT

An explanatory summary of the Deeds Registries Amendment Bill has been gazetted in anticipation of its imminent introduction in Parliament. Among other things, for statistical and land audit purposes the Bill seeks to enable the Minister to make regulations in respect of collecting personal information relating to race, gender, citizenship and nationality.
