DENEL, TRANSNET, SANRAL SPECIAL APPROPRIATIONS GAZETTED

Additional funds required by the Departments of Public Enterprises and Transport for the 2022/2023 fiscal year are the focus of a Special Appropriation Act, which has been gazetted for information. Of the approximately R30m allocated to the two departments, nearly R24m is earmarked for the South African National Roads Agency Ltd debt redemption fund. The remainder is intended to facilitate Denel’s turnaround and accelerate Transnet's locomotive repair programme.
