DIVISION OF REVENUE BILL 2026: NCOP COMMITTEE CALLS FOR SUBMISSIONS

Please note: On 10 March 2026, the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Appropriations issued a notice calling for written submissions by 16 March 2026 on the 2026 Division of Revenue Bill and 2025/26 Special Appropriation Bill. Hearings are scheduled to take place on 17 March 2026 in eThekwini, KwaZulu-Natal.

The NCOP’s Appropriations Committee has issued a notice calling for written submissions by 23 March 2026 on the 2026 Division of Revenue Bill. Parliamentary hearings are scheduled to take place two days later.

The Bill has yet to be processed by the National Assembly’s Appropriations Committee and passed by the House.

Tabled with the 2026/27 Budget, the Bill provides for allocations to the three spheres on government for the prevailing financial year.
