DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: SAPS NATIONAL INSTRUCTION UPDATED

The Department of Police has published a revised national instruction on dealing with domestic violence.
However, a covering Government Gazette notice makes no reference to the recent commencement of most sections of the Domestic Violence Amendment Act, 2021. Neither has a media statement been issued on changes made to the 1999 instruction. Presumably, it is now in line with the amendment Act’s requirements.
