FINANCIAL MARKETS ACT: STRATE RULES TO BE AMENDED

Input is sought by 4 February 2023 on draft amendments to the Strate (Pty) Ltd rules. Once finalised, the amendments proposed are expected to:
- streamline existing administrative structures
- grant more discretion to the Regulatory & Supervisory Committee when determining whether improper conduct has occurred, and
- align Rule 6 with the Companies Act, 2008, as amended.
