FINANCIAL SECTOR: FSCA FEE ADJUSTMENTS PUBLISHED

The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) has published a schedule of revised fees applicable from 1 October 2024. This follows a public consultation process initiated in September 2023, on which SA Legal Academy reported at the time.

The announcement should not be confused with a Prudential Authority fees and levies adjustment consultation process now under way and on which SA Legal Academy reported in August 2024.

According to a FSCA communication on the new fees, ‘no concerns or issues were raised … warrant(ing) any substantial change in approach’ – as reflected in an accompanying consultation report.
