FINANCIAL SECTOR LEVIES BILLS PASSED BY PARLIAMENT

Parliament has passed 'B' versions of the Financial Sector Deposit Insurance Levies Bill and Financial Sector Deposit Insurance Levies (Administration) & Deposit Insurance Premiums Bill. Now waiting to be signed into law, once in force the new legislation will impose levies on financial institutions in order to fund various regulatory entities.
