FOREIGN SERVICE ACT IN FORCE SOON

The Foreign Service Act, 2019, will come into effect on 25 August 2022 by proclamation in the Government Gazette. Expected to facilitate and support a more professional service in line with global operational standards and requirements, among other things the Act deals with issues of management, administration and accountability.
