Acts

The following Acts have been gazetted but are not yet in force:

the Land Court Act (providing for the establishment of a specialist Land Court, with its judgments, orders and decisions appealable)
the Traditional Courts Act (providing for a legislative framework for resolving disputes in terms of customary law, in line with constitutional imperatives and values)
the South African Postbank Limited Amendment Act (providing for adjustments to the Postbank’s establishment and shareholding arrangements by creating a new banking controlling company), and
the Repeal of the Transkeian Penal Code Act (the title of which is self-explanatory).
