Please note: On 11 August 2025, the Legal Practice Council gazetted a correction notice adding a signature to the original version calling for publlic comment.
The Legal Practice Council has gazetted a notice announcing its intention to amend its rule on filling provincial council vacancies. The changes envisaged focus on a situation in which a by-election is deemed necessary. The deadline for comments is 5 September 2025.
