LIQUOR ACT REGULATIONS: MORE AMENDMENTS PROPOSED

The Department of Trade, Industry & Competition has called for input by 7 September 2025 on draft amendments to regulations under the 2003 Liquor Act affecting the registration of liquor manufacturers and distributors. Once in force, among other things the proposed amendments will have implications for:
- documentary requirements
- fees
- forms, and
- National Liquor Authority application processing procedures and timeframes.
