MINE HEALTH & SAFETY: 2015 TRACKLESS MOBILE MACHINERY REGULATIONS NOW IN FORCE

The Department of Mineral Resources & Energy has gazetted a notice announcing the commencement of amendments made in February 2015 to Chapter 8 of the Mine Health & Safety Act (machinery and equipment) but not promulgated at the time. Prescribing measures to be taken to avoid collisions involving diesel-powered trackless mobile machinery, the regulations came into effect on 21 December 2022.
