Mineral & Petroleum Resources Development Act regulatory amendments now in force

Amendments to the Mineral & Petroleum Resources Development Act's 2004 regulations are now in force. They were gazetted in draft form on 28 February 2022 for comment and - at the time - focused on applications for permission, rights and permits related to petroleum resource development.
The notice announcing the commencement of these amendments refers to their publication in February. However, these were draft amendments released for comment. The final regulations have never been published.
