The 2022 Taxation Laws and Tax Administration Laws Amendment Acts have been gazetted, commencing certain provisions retrospectively, others with immediate effect and some on dates yet to be announced. Together with the Rates & Monetary Amounts & Amendment of Revenue Laws Act, 2022, the two new pieces of legislation give practical effect to announcements made in the 2022/2023 Budget.
