NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE: NEXT ANNUAL REVIEW BEGINS

The National Minimum Wage Commission has begun its annual review in anticipation of reporting to Employment & Labour Minister Nomakhosazana Meth with possible adjustment recommendations. To that end, the Commission has gazetted a notice calling for written submissions by 4 September 2026. Stakeholders making input are also required to complete a questionnaire.

Once the Commission has published its report, members of the public will have a further opportunity to comment.
