POST OFFICE AMENDMENT BILL: NCOP COMMITTEE CALLS FOR SUBMISSIONS

The NCOP Committee on Public Enterprises and Communication has issued a notice calling for written submissions by 20 March 2024 on a ‘B’ version of the South African Post Offices SOC Ltd Amendment Bill.
Tabled in May 2023, among other things the Bill seeks to expand the Post Office mandate, diversify its services, repurpose Post Office infrastructure and provide for a ‘revised governance structure’.
