PROTECTION OF CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY AGAINST TERRORIST & RELATED ACTIVITIES AMENDMENT BILL

In anticipation of a final round of public hearings on the Bill, the NCOP's Security & Justice Committee has called for written submissions by 6 December - fast-tracking what is normally at least a three-week process. Passed on 29 November 2022 by the National Assembly, the Bill is one of several measures being taken to avoid grey listing by the international Financial Action Task Force. Revised by the National Assembly's Police Committee, it now reflects amendments listed in the committee report. However, when the committee issued its notice, the Bill's 'B' version was not available. You will be notified as soon as it is published.
