PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATIONS: STRICTER LIFESTYLE AUDITS PROPOSED

The Department of Public Service & Administration has called for input by 26 March 2023 on proposed amendments to the 2016 public service regulations. Among other things, they have implications for financial disclosure and conflicts of interest.

Possibly with that in mind, that the accompanying Government Gazette notice refers to provisions seeking to ‘regulate lifestyle audits’. The regulations have been amended only once since coming into effect.
