ROAD ACCIDENT FUND: LATEST CLAIMS LIMIT ADJUSTMENT IN FORCE FROM 31 JANUARY 2026

With effect from 31 January 2026, the Road Accident Fund’s statutory limit for loss of support or income claims will be R378 581.00. This is according to a Government Gazette notice that includes details of the formula used to calculate the new limit. Intended to counter the effects of consumer price index (CPI) inflation, adjustments are made quarterly and immediately reported on the SA Legal Academy website.
