ROAD ACCIDENT FUND: PARLIAMENTARY 'OVERSIGHT ENQUIRY' INTO ALLEGATIONS OF MALADMINISTRATION

The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Public Accounts has issued a notice announcing the commencement of an ‘oversight enquiry’ into allegations of Road Accident Fund maladministration and non-compliance with the relevant legislation. The enquiry’s purpose is to:

  • test the allegations and related evidence
  • determine what, if any, action may be required, and
  • make recommendations accordingly.

With that in mind, the committee has called for information from members of the public.

The deadline for input is 21 July 2025.
