SA SHIPPING COMPANY BILL PUBLISHED FOR COMMENT

A pre-draft South African Company Shipping Bill has been released for public comment by 1 December 2022. It follows an earlier version, which was gazetted in March 2020 for stakeholder input. Once finalised, the Bill will seek to give effect to South Africa's Comprehensive Maritime Transport Policy, which is also still in draft form.
