SECTIONAL TITLES ACT: REGULATORY AMENDMENTS GAZETTED, COMMENCEMENT IMMINENT

The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform & Rural Development has published more amendments to regulations under the 1986 Sectional Titles Act. Scheduled to come into force on 3 April 2025, they have implications for:
- the preparation of documents (focusing on initialling)
- re-registering a deed of transfer
- certificates of registered sectional title, and
- endorsements and/or entries (on registered deeds, other documents or in the register itself).
