SECTIONAL TITLES AMENDMENT BILL READY TO BE PASSED

The NCOP committee tasked with considering the Sectional Titles Amendment Bill's 'B' version has completed its work and adopted the Bill without recommending any changes. The Bill has been tabled in the House with a committee report and is likely to be sent to the President shortly to be signed into law. Once in force, among other things it will enable a part of a development's common property to be leased with the consent of the holders of registered real rights.
