SOCIAL RELIEF OF DISTRESS GRANT TO CONTINUE FOR ANOTHER YEAR?

The Department of Social Development has gazetted a notice calling for public comments by 7 March 2023 on proposals to amend the 2022 social relief of distress grant regulations. This is with the aim of continuing the availability of the R350 monthly grant to qualifying people for another year, ending on 31 March 2024.
