SOUND BROADCASTING: FREQUENCY MODULATION OPTIMISATION INQUIRY

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has gazetted a findings document and position paper on optimising sound broadcasting frequency modulation. This follows the March 2022 release of a discussion document on which three submissions were received.
It is not clear if ICASA’s position on recommendations made in these submissions will require any regulatory amendments.
