Special Tribunal for the president and additional members

The Special Tribunal has a new president and two new judges, whose appointemnt was announced on 9 May 2022 by proclamation in the Government Gazette.

Established in July 2001 under the Special Investigating Units & Special Tribunals Act, 1996, as amended, the Special Tribunal focuses on investigations into serious malpractices, maladministration and corruption in connection with the administration of state institutions, state assets and public money, as well as any conduct, that may undermine or harm the interests of members of the public.
