TAX: BASE EROSION & PROFIT SHIFTING (BEPS)

National Treasury has issued a media statement on government's recent ratification of the Organisation of Economic Co-operation & Development (OECD) multilateral convention on tax treaty-related measures to curb BEPS.
The convention will come into force locally on 1 January 2023, covering most existing bilateral tax treaties.
