TOURIST LAND TRANSPORT SERVICES: REGULATORY AMENDMENTS GAZETTED

The Department of Transport has gazetted a second set of amendments to the 2009 national land transport regulations – with significant implications for tourist transport service operators.
Released in draft form in April and July 2023 for public comment, among other things the new amendments link the issuance of a tourist transport service operating licence to accreditation requirements prescribed in section 81 of the National Transport Act, 2009.
