CONSUMER GOODS & SERVICES: AUTOMOTIVE CODE OF CONDUCT TO BE REVISED?

Input is sought by 23 June 2025 on a draft standard code of conduct for the automotive industry. Presumably, once finalised, the proposed new code will replace one gazetted in October 2014. However, this is not stated in the draft code’s accompanying Government Gazette notice.
The draft automotive industry code was gazetted with a draft standard for industry-specific codes on which input is also sought. It is not clear why.
